The Winter 2019 Program
The winter 2019 program at the American Academy in Berlin sees topics ranging from the material history of Islam to North Korea’s nuclear threat, from the Russian origins of laws of war to writing about disability in Berlin, plus lectures by Federal German president Frank Walter-Steinmeier, architect David Chipperfield, Metropolitan Museum of Art president Daniel Weiss, and former deputy national security advisor Ben Rhodes.
