Linda Greenhouse is the Knight Distinguished Journalist-in-Residence and Joseph Goldstein Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School, positions she began in 2009 after thirty years as the Supreme Court correspondent for the New York Times. Greenhouse is the recipient of a Pulitzer Prize and other major journalism awards for her coverage of the Court, the author of several books about the US Supreme Court, and she currently writes a biweekly op-ed column for the Times. Greenhouse currently serves as president of the American Philosophical Society, the oldest learned society in the United States, and sits on the boards of several other nonprofits. Her latest book is Just a Journalist: On the Press, Life, and the Spaces in Between, a personal account of and reflections upon the journalist life, published by Harvard University Press in October 2017.
