Mark Copelovitch is Professor of Political Science and Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he holds the Jean Monnet Chair in the European Union and the Global Economy and is director of the Jean Monnet EU Center for Populism and Political Economy. At the Academy, Copelovitch is working on a new book, “Dollar Signs: The Myth of American Decline and the Future of World Order,” exploring the causes and consequences of the US dollar’s enduring dominance in the world economy.
