Joshua Sellers is an associate professor of law at Arizona State University, where he focuses on election law, legislation and regulation, constitutional law, and civil procedure. Sellers received his BA in political science and Afroamerican and African studies from the University of Michigan, and his JD and a PhD in political science from the University of Chicago, where he served as articles editor of the University of Chicago Law Review. Before entering teaching, Sellers was a law clerk to Judge Rosemary Barkett of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and a litigation associate at Jenner & Block LLP in Washington, DC. His articles have been published in the Penn Law ReviewNYU Law ReviewVanderbilt Law ReviewStanford Law Review, and elsewhere. Sellers’ forthcoming contribution to The Oxford Handbook of American Election Law (2023) is entitled “Political Parties and Primary Elections.”
