Evan Osnos is a staff writer at the New Yorker, where he served as the China correspondent from 2008 to 2013. Prior, he worked at the Chicago Tribune, where he was part of a team that won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting. In 2014, Osnos was awarded the National Book Award for Age of Ambition. Chasing Fortune, Truth, and Faith in the New China. His biography of Joe Biden, Joe Biden: The Life, the Run, and What Matters Now (2020), became an international bestseller. His latest book, Wildland: The Making of America’s Fury (2021), was a New York Times Best Seller. The German translations of his books are published by Suhrkamp Verlag.
