Liana Finck: Let There Be Light / 13^th Graphic Novel Day

God is a woman plagued by artistic self-doubt, Abraham is a resident of New York City, and Rebecca is a robot: with minimalist black-and-white drawings, selectively supplemented by color, Liana Finck retells the Old Testament in her graphic novel in her very own way – “irreverent yet profound,” as Publishers Weekly put it. The author, known in Germany for her comic column in Süddeutsche Zeitung, was awarded the National Jewish Book Award 2022. Hosted by Lilian Pithan.
