Originally from Navajo Nation, Raven Chacon is a composer of chamber music, performer of experimental noise music, and installation artist. In this talk, he discusses his body of work, which explores the sounds of acoustic handmade instruments overdriven through electric systems, and the direct and indirect audio-feedback responses from their interactions. Introductory remarks are delivered by Volker Straebel, director of the master’s program in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at the University of Arts Berlin.

In cooperation with the CTM/Transmediale Vorspiel
