Award-winning writer Brian Evenson discusses his past works and work-in-progress, specifically in light of Mormon teaching and the culture of Mormon Utah. His new work expands upon the themes of Evenson’s 2005 novel The Open Curtain, which approaches the apocalyptic American admixture of violence, religion, and mental illness with a destabilizing intensity.
