Chris Inglis is a visiting professor at the US Air Force and Naval Academies, a senior advisor to Hakluyt and Company and Paladin Capital, a member of the board of AIG, Mitre, and Huntington Bancshares, and the US Navy Science and Technology Board, and sits on US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency Advisory Council.

 

From 2021-23, Inglis served as the inaugural White House US National Cyber Director, after service as a commissioner on the US Cyberspace Solarium Commission, eight years as the National Security Agency Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer (2006-14), and three years as the Special US Liaison to London.

 

Inglis holds degrees in engineering and computer science from Columbia University, The Johns Hopkins University, The George Washington University, and an honorary doctorate from the National Intelligence University. He holds the rating of as a US Air Force command pilot and attained the rank of Brigadier General in his active/reserve service.
