Ben Lerner is the author of nine books of internationally acclaimed poetry and prose, most recently the novel, Transcription. He has also published several collaborations, including The Snows of Venice (with Alexander Kluge) and Blossom (with Thomas Demand). A recipient of fellowships from the Fulbright, Guggenheim, and MacArthur Foundations, he has been a finalist for the National Book Award in Poetry and the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction. He has won the Los Angeles Times Book Award and the Preis der Stadt Münster für Internationale Poesie, among other honors.
