Carole Maso, a novelist and essayist known for her experimental, poetic, and fragmentary narratives, has been a professor of Literary Arts at Brown University since 1995. At the Academy, she is working on her novel “The Bay of Angels,” which incorporates a myriad of forms: fiction, essay, memoir, poetry, and graphics—including drawings, photographs, maps and represents nearly 15 years of writing.
