Welcoming the Fall 2012 Class of Fellows
The American Academy in Berlin is thrilled to welcome the fall 2012 Class of Berlin Prize Fellows to the Hans Arnhold Center in its traditional Fellows Presentation, introduced this evening by Ines Pohl, Editor-in-Chief of taz. die tageszeitung. Tonight, twelve distinguished American scholars, writers, an artist and a composer officially take up their residencies at the Hans Arnhold Center for a semester of independent study on projects ranging from a new novel to a new translation to studies of Muslim integration in Europe. For a first look at the new class, please click here for their complete biographies and project descriptions. And click here to watch the livestream of the evening's presentations. We look forward to welcoming the interested public to the lectures, readings, and other gatherings coming up this fall. And, foremost, to our fall fellows: Wilkommen in der Haupstadt Berlin!
