A number of the American Academy's lectures, along with NPR's regular programming and the Academy's own radio show, "The Berlin Journal," are broadcast to an international audience by National Public Radio in Berlin, at 104.1 FM. Past editions of "The Berlin Journal" are archived on npr.org and in our Audio/Video Archive.

The American Academy in Berlin is proud to have a partnership with Die Welt and Welt am Sonntag, published by Axel Springer Verlag in Berlin.

Tagesspiegel,  the Berlin-based daily, publishes an annual supplement about the incoming class of Fellows, Distinguished Visitors, and Guests. The insert appears in September.

The same supplement is also included in Handelsblatt, a daily business newspaper.

From time to time, in conjunction with special events of particular transatlantic relevance, such as the annual Munich Security Conference, the Academy co-publishes a supplement for inclusion in the Süddeutsche Zeitung featuring articles and commentary by Academy Fellows, Trustees, and friends.

Since fall 2008 Phoenix Television and the American Academy in Berlin have cooperated to host the Kamingespräch (Fireside Chats), an interview-format program featuring discussions with prominent German politicians in the Hans Arnhold Center library.
