Julika Castro studied North American Studies, political science, and cultural studies at the Freie Universität and at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During her studies she also interned at CNN in Atlanta and the Goethe-Institut in Boston. She joined the Academy’s program staff in 2006 and served as Program Manager of the Arts, Literature, and Music program until 2009. She took up the position of Program Coordinator of Special Events in September 2010.
