Ileen Sessay is assistant to both the Chief Administrative Officer and the Dean of Fellows and Programs. She joined the Academy in May 2011 after working at the WallStreet Institute in Berlin as an English Language Assistant. She studied German, North American, and English Studies at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, from which she graduated with an MA. During her studies, Sessay interned at two NPOs in Cape Town, South Africa, supported by a DAAD-scholarship.
