The Axel Springer Fellowship was established in 2003 with the generous support of Axel Springer AG. It aims to promote German-American dialogue in the fields of media, public policy, and other areas of contemporary concern. The Axel Springer Fellow is selected annually from the Academy’s pool of accepted fellows, and may be from a journalistic, academic, or public policy background.
