The American Academy's house magazine, The Berlin Journal, features a stimulating range of articles, opinion pieces, fiction, art, and poetry by fellows and distinguished visitors, offering a glimpse of the Academy's vibrant intellectual life and the varied pursuits of its fellows, visitors, trustees, and friends. Each issue includes profiles of current fellows, news from trustees and the Academy community, reports and coverage of recent events, and a list of new alumni publications. Published once per year as of 2016 (previously biannually, 1999-2015), The Berlin Journal is available in print and digitally. Generous underwriters of the magazine include Telefonica and Stefan von Holtzbrinck, whose support has been essential.
