The New Global Europe: A Symposium

In October 2008, the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes (CHCI) international advisory board met in Paris and launched a sustained program of consortium globalization through a dialogue with European colleagues. The December 2017 meeting in Berlin will mark ten years of this project and its substantial achievement via regional expansion and diversification in Asia, Africa, and, most recently, South America.

The day will conclude with a musical program by pianist Saleem Ashkar, an 2017-18 Visiting Artist at the Academy .
