Biography
Kathy S. Alberts studied North American history and literature, European history, and sociology at the TU Braunschweig, the University of Oregon, and at the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies of the Freie Universität Berlin, receiving an MA degree. A former intern at the American Academy, Alberts worked as a Project Assistant at the Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin and, from 2006 to 2011, at the museum “The Kennedys” in Berlin, of which she became the manager in 2007. She joined the American Academy as Database Coordinator in October 2011.
